Vancouver Lake Public Launch, Washington
Vancouver Lake can be a great day sailing spot but as the water level drops it can get tricky to right your boat if you go over, your mast can get stuck in the mud. Algae and overall water quality can also be a problem during the summer months.

If you are looking for big wind and wave action the Columbia River is the place for you. Timothy Lake, Mount Hood, Oregon

Home Valley, Washington

Dalton Point, Oregon
Launching from the Oregon side can be found at Dalton Point, slightly west of Multnomah Falls. The launch can be tricky when water level is high and there isn’t a beach but on a sunny day with a good east wind this is a heavenly sail. Waldo Lake “Gem of the Cascades” Willamette National Forest
Waldo Lake is one of the purest lakes in the world and a true “Gem of the Cascades”. One of the largest natural lakes in Oregon and the second deepest. No motorized boats allowed on this lake in order to help maintain the lake’s water quality. To check current weather conditions CLICK HERE.

Yale Park Beach
Cougar Campground and Launch, Cougar, Washington
Approximately a mile east of Cougar is the Cougar Campground and launch. A nice open parking area for rigging and the boat launch is easy to navigate with area on either side for beaching or anchoring your boat. Portco Launch, Columbia River, Vancouver,Washington
A nice launch on the Columbia right in Vancouver. This area can get very congested on sunny days and weekends with lots of motor boats getting on or off the river.
